Ali and Darren were having a hand fasting ceremony and wanted bold, bright flowers to match their bold, bright day at The Matara Centre. We decided that big headed blooms would give the best impact, and we went for a selection that gave not only contrasts of colour, but contrasts in texture too. The Sonja sunflowers were a sentimental aspect to Ali, so we teamed them with a bold assortment of callistephus, deep purple gladioli blooms, lime green chrysanthemum blooms as well as totally fun craspedia balls and crazy cerise celosia heads! Ali wanted trailing ribbons on her bouquet, so we used the 7 colours of hand fasting ribbons to really bring all the colour and design elements together.
